Testament. She writes, “Watching the faces of older women in a Klao speaking
congregation as they hear God’s word read to them in a language they
understand is an experience one would not forget. Their faces verify the
pastor’s comment: with this translation you don’t need to read any commentaries,
you can understand it clearly just as it is. We could never have produced

Evangeliche Metodiste in Milan, Italy. It is a Methodist congregation within
the Waldensian Church, the oldest continuous Protestant church in the world.
The Methodist Church in Milan groups English speaking and Italian speaking
Methodists. Their ministry is oriented toward a growing immigrant “guest
worker” population, welcoming the stranger and sojourner. Their congregants
