2009 Local Church Report/Year End Report/Statistician's Report
- This report is to be completed and filed no later than January 31, 2010
- This report should be filed via the U.M.C. G.C.F.A. Statistical Input System (http://www.eagle.gcfa.org)
- Pastors are responsible for the filing of the report and for its accuracy
Logging into the System
- In November the Statistician will send each congregation a letter containing information about filing their local church report as well as their user name and password.
- If you experience trouble logging into the system call the Statistician (248.851.2330). The Statistician is usually in his office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00 A.M. to 12 Noon. You may also send an email to: pastor.wbucm@sbcglobal.net
Once you are logged into the system
- Click on Reports
- Click on Blank Church Input form.
- Select tables I, II, and III. You can now print a blank copy of the report to use for the collection of data and as a worksheet.
- On the link "Church Reports" one can obtain a copy of the church users guide and the table directions.
Hints for filing the report
- Using a blank copy of the input form, identify what information you will need to obtain from different members of your church's leadership (church school, membership, worship attendance, treasurer, financial secretary, etc)
- Give each person who will supply you with data a blank copy of the report highligting the data they need to supply.
- Request that all persons supplying you with data give the data to you no later than January 20th. This gives you time to compile the data, review it, and in some cases ask for clarification.
Filing the report
- Go to add/edit tables
- Begin to enter the data.
- You will be completing Tables I, II, and III.
- You may save your data at anytime and return to complete your work later
- After you have entered all your data, print a copy of the report to review and for your files.
- When you are satisfied with your report, go to Submit Stats Process to submit your report. Saving the report does not submit it to the Statistician.
Other tasks to be done
- Review church information
- Review pastor information
- If either of these have incorrect information, please contact the Statistician with the necessary changes.
- Review Administration information to make sure that the contact information is correct. This is also where you can change your password.
Deadlines to Honor
- All apportionments payments for 2009 are to be received by the Conference Treasurer no later than January 7, 2010
- Deadline for filing your report is January 31, 2010
What happens after your report is filed?
- It is reviewed and audited for accuracy. You will receive a letter telling you when your audited report is ready for your review online.
- Reports are submitted to GCFA, the Council of Bishops, Bishop Keaton, and the Detroit Annual Conference

- For the apportionment voucher your username is your gcfa number, and that number is found on the site where you file your local church report. Your password is the Conference number preceeded by two zeros.
