	Our Mission
		The role and mission of the United Methodist Foundation is to broaden the financial base of the local churches of the Detroit Annual Conference through Programs of education, resourcing, consultation and cultivation of planned and deferred gifts for the local church; Programs of education, resourcing, and consultation, for setting up and marketing local church endowment funds; Service to the local churches as well as the Annual Conference through the management of investment pools for the purposes of obtaining market-level returns for acceptable levels of risk for long-term investments
