Our Mission
The role and mission of the United Methodist Foundation is to broaden the financial base of the local churches of the Detroit Annual Conference through
  • Programs of education, resourcing, consultation and cultivation of planned and deferred gifts for the local church;
  • Programs of education, resourcing, and consultation, for setting up and marketing local church endowment funds;
  • Service to the local churches as well as the Annual Conference through the management of investment pools for the purposes of obtaining market-level returns for acceptable levels of risk for long-term investments
